God's Grand Story and the Gospel

The Bible states, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" and everything in it (Genesis 1:1). Everything He created was good. He made Adam and Eve in His own image. Unfortunately, they sinned against Him and spiritually died. Their relationship with God was broken. Sin and death entered the world, and the whole world fell under the curse of sin and death. Every person is born into the Kingdom of Satan and with original sin. This is the bad news.

The good news is that God loves us. He had a plan to give us new birth, restore our broken relationship, and allow us to enter into His Kingdom through His only Son, Jesus Christ. Around 2,000 years ago, the Word of God "became flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1:14). Because He came from above, Jesus Christ was not born into the Kingdom of Satan or with original sin. He lived a perfect life. Because of our sin, Jesus Christ suffered, was crucified, buried, and rose again on the third day. A few days later, He ascended into heaven, and one day He will return.

Because of Jesus' sacrifice, the wrath of God was satisfied, the work of Satan was destroyed, and our sins can be forgiven. As a result, those who repent of their sins, believe in their hearts in the person and work of Jesus Christ, and confess this belief with their mouths will not perish but will be born again. In addition, they will have eternal life and eternal redemption. On the other hand, those who don't repent and believe will stay condemned and face eternal punishment after death.

The children of the Lord also receive the Holy Spirit at the moment they repent and believe. The Spirit of the Lord empowers them to follow the Lord on a daily basis. Eventually, the Lord will make a new heaven and a new earth, and His followers will spend eternity with Him in the new creation.
